Question : My 14 year old daughter wants to take biotin so her hair can grow. Can she?
Dear XXXXXXX Hi & Welcome.
Yes, she can take along with healthy balanced diet, fruits, and vegetables.
Biotin (Vitamin B7), present in many foods and available as a supplement and is required for the healthy growth of the hairs. The usual recommend a starting dose is 2 mg per day for hair growth and 3 mg per day for hair loss. Hope this helps.
