Question : hi my wife is severaly depressed was put on 10 mg of Lexapro was giving gerax to settle her but nothing only on Lexapro 10 days would like advice as she is so low dangerously low . XXXXXXX

Lexapro is a good drug for depression, but takes atleast 3 weeks to start its work. i would suggest you to continue it till that time before you see the response. it is generally given in combination with anxiolytics as initially it may cause anxiety and palpitations that will be taken care of by anxiolytics. please post if you have any queries, but make sure that you type clearly what you wanted to know. all the best.
