Is Lobate GM And Topsor Advisable During Pregnancy?

Question : I am 24 weeks pregnant. My dermatologist has asked me to use lobate GM and topsor for a fungal infection/ dandruff in my hair. Is it safe to use the same? I've heard skin medicines have steroids that may effect the baby.

Hello dear, you are right that steroids Should be avoided during pregnancy but you have been prescribed topical creams which are absorbed in a minimal quantity so they are safe and moreover as you are already 24 weeks pregnant there is no risk at all because all the organs of baby are fully formed by this time.
You can safely apply the creams as advised by your doctor.
