Skipping breast feeding for a few hours should be enough
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Podowart Lotion (Podophyllum Resin) is a topical keratolytic. It is not known whether topically applied podophyllum resin is distributed into milk. But what I can say from my understanding is that first it will have to enter your systemic circulation and then only a fraction would enter the breast milk, if at all it is secreted into breast milk. So, the concentration would in any case be insignificant. Podophyllium resin can be used in pediatric population and so, even if that little concentration enters breast milk, I do not think that it would be a cause for concern. So, I do not find any reason to discontinue lactation. All you can do is to skip breast feeding for next few hours. Nothing else needs to be done.
Let me know if I could help further.
