Question : I received a series of rabies shots 2 years ago (like 4 or 5) but was just bitten by a dog again. Skin did not really break but visibly affected. Do I need another shot? Dog did not seem rabid
Brief Answer:
Better to take a booster
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
You probably have immunity now as per some studies. Since you have not had a booster dose 1 year after the vaccination, it is better to take it now. It will give you the added immunity up to 10 years.
Take care.
