Question : Can I take seroquel or trazadone while on the seizure medicine lamictal & tompamax & the antidepressant paxil? Or will i have any side effects such as a seizure or anything else? I was on these medications before (trazadone,seroquel) but was taken off an some psych meds an seizure meds changed an i am having mad problems sleeping & I still have the pills. Im 20 5"7 250 lbs please tell me what you think

You may experience serious side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Trazadone is an antidepressant so, since you are using Paxil you may experience severe side effects such depressed consciousness.

Seroquel could increase the seizures threshold, so, better to avoid it.

You can use low doses of benzodiazepines such Diazepam 10 mg eg. in order to improve sleeping and reduce the possibility of seizures.

These issues should be discussed with your treating Doctor.
