Question : Hi doctor. We ran some blood tests for my wife and the thyroid test said she has t3 levels of 2. The gp we went to prescribed thyropace for a month. is it safe for use?

Based on the history you have shared, these reports reflect that thyroid levels are just about normal and their is no evidence that this patient needs to be on thyroid medications however she needs iron replacements and other work up for her iron loss. If it's nutritional only replacements will be sufficient else she may need a detailed evaluation and work up of anemia after a detailed review by a medical specialist.
