Question : I am a 83 y/o white male who had a Greenight" proceedure done some 3-4 years ago. Diagnosis was scar tissue.Had ssome post -op bleeding buy disappered ith drinking PLEATY of water. I subsequently had a hip fx with a Hemi performed sucessfully Placed on Perdaxa but bruising I was moved to 325 Ecotrin, on for about 6 months and taken off because of bruising a year ago. Three months ago I had a significant TIA, back on ASA.
Now reoccuurance of bleeding resolved with water drinking. TPSA 2.5........I am a retired Physician Assistant from Orthopedic Surgery. Do I need invasive biopsey or MRI orn what?

Hello,
I have studied your case. You said that you are having repeated bleeding. This is an indication of biopsy to make sure everything is normal. TPSA below 5 ng/ml is normal in your age. So chances of cancer are very less, though. But continuous bleeding is a warning signal and can not be ignored.
