Brief Answer:
it's safe as long as you don't take any nitrate drugs..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome to HCM,

I've gone through your query and understand your concern..

It's safe to take Tazzle(Tadalafil) in a diabetic, however I'd strongly suggest you to please rule out any underlying Cardiac issues before starting it..

You should also note that Tazzle should not to be taken in any individual taking Nitrate group of medications..another important thing is the purpose of it (whether it's prescribed for any pulmonary arterial hypertension or ED or for any other reason- feel free to share)..

As per your description of the medications, it can be taken, however it's always better to be on the safer side, and any underlying cardiac pathology (angina specifically) should be ruled out prior to start it..you can simply visit your physician/cardiologist for a basic cardiological check-up (along with a 12 lead ECG and Echocardiography and/ a stress test), if cleared then no problem in taking it..

Let me know if any of them has been done before (if yes then how are the results)..

Let me know if there's any further queries, I'll be glad to clarify..

Take Care
Kind Regards

Brief Answer:
follow-up consultation..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome back,

Even though it's a rare side effect but still there are reported incidence backache and joint pains in ~3-5% of patient group (although I haven't come across this in any of my patients yet)..

You should also note that in low doses (5-10 mg per per day) chances of this is even less, and if at all occurs, generally get subsided within 48 hrs of initiation of therapy..

However, it's always advisable to get yourself checked (as I've already mentioned in my previous reply) prior to start this and take it under strict medical supervision..

Take Care
Kind Regards
