Question: I am awaiting starting IVF ..I have taken norothisterone for a withdrawal bleed and am only spotting brown discharge.is that adequate to start IVF.I am seeing consultant tomorrow but am very anxious that if it is not a full proper period they wont start

I understand your anxiety but you need to visit your specialist as brown discharge marks the start of periods.
But in case on ultrasound she finds your endometrial lining thick then she will postpone treatment for 3-4 days and then start it but problem of dropping the cycle will not arise.
