Question : Hi my 15 month old baby fell down 6 steps and hit her head 2 weeks ago.An egg sized lump and bruise appeared on her forehead but no other symptoms. She seems fine but bruising is still there and when I rub my finger over the bruise there is a small hard lump. Is this normal?

I am so sorry to hear about this fall that your baby suffered. I have reviewed the information provided and this is normal. Tissue following an injury is actually hard and does fit with the description that you have provided. There is no need to worry as this should normally take a couple of weeks more for full resolution to set in.
