Question: Hello 29th july i got 3 doses of rabipur injection and 2year ago i take 5 injection according to doctor advice but today one dog passing me and affraid if he scratches or not so please what i do now i am confused

What are effective duration of rabipur

Just complete the schedule.

Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.

Since you have been taking the Rabipur vaccine so the re exposure is no going to effect you and you don't need to take a new course.

I would recommend to complete the course of 5 shots. So ask your doctor for remaining 2 shots to complete the course and provide you immunity.

Hello sir i already take two 5 injection 2014 and 2013 years

Again i take 29july 2016 three injection

But 29August 2016 i am afraid a one street dog passing in my away but in my leg i have no scratches but i am afraid

So again require injection?? i am confused please help me sir

Take remaining 2 shots now

Since your exposure was low risk, you actually don't require vaccination, bit since you have already taken 3 shots recently, i would recommend to take remaining 2 shots.
Vaccination may be effective even for 5 years, however varies from person to person.

Dear Friend, your exposure was a low risk one and usually we don't advice and vaccines.
However I advice you for remaining shot as you already had 3 vaccines.
No there is no such immunity test available.
