Question : Late January/early February I had unprotected sex. Last Thursday, August 27th, close to seven months, I took an HIV test that came back negative. Can I trust these results?
Brief Answer:
Yes you can trust the result as it is more than 6 months since the exposure
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Welcome to HCM.
You had unprotected sex in january and february and you had tested for HIV on 27th august so definitely you can trust the result as it is more than 6 months since last exposure and the window period for HIV is also 15 days to 3 months. So don't worry and go ahead in life happily.
Thank You
