Is Blood Pressure Of 100/63 A Cause For Concern?

Question: Hello Doctor,

we measured the BP of my wife at home using digital meter and the BP is 100/63

Please be inform that she is feeding baby of 2.5 month old.

is the level of BP serious ? Kindly suggest. she has taken salt immediately

Hi XXXXXXX a blood pressure of 60-90 Diastolic (lower) and 90-120 systolic (upper) is absolutely normal. Her's is in the range.So please do not worry. It is only if it was high previously and a person is on medication for it, such a BP may require a reduction in medication. In your wife's case, I do not see any cause for anxiety, and there is no reason for extra salt unless you say the BP has fallen drastically from previous levels.
