Question : I have scheduled an appointment for circumcision. However the baby is having fever. Can I still go ahead and get the circumcision done?

Circumcision is a minor surgery requiring local or regional anesthesia.
It is better to postpone surgery with fever.
The reason behind this is to avoid infections after surgery at the site.
In the presence of fever skin incision will increase chances of wound infection.
It is better to postpone it till fever settles.
