Is Crying Before Passing Urine Normal In An Infant?

1- he is crying every time before he starts to pass urine. I understand it is because of hunger if he is crying AFTER he passes urine. But is it normal for him to cry even before he passes urine. Please let me know if there is anything I need to be concerned about.
2- regarding feeding the baby, I understand the minimum recommendation to breastfeed the baby is atleast 6 months. But would like to know what is a generally recommended duration for an XXXXXXX baby. Also, I hear from some of my friends and relatives that feeding the baby for over 18-24 months will negatively impact the mother. Is this true? Please advise if there is a lactation guide that I can refer to for such things (too many things on the internet is generally confusing otherwise).
Thanks much.
It is normal to cry before urinating in this age
Detailed Answer:
Hi...Hope you have started using olive oil for the bath now. I remember you asking me a quick question.
Regarding you queries -
1. It is normal for this aged babies to be crying before voiding urine. This occurs because, the sensation of voiding is natural for adults and we know that it is the sensation of bladder fullness. But newborns do not recognize it so. They feel some fullness sensation in the bladder region and automatically the bladder empties itself and (if you observe carefully) once the urine is voided, the cry stops immediately. This is a natural phenomenon as the only way of expression in this age is cry. I suggest you not to worry about it.
2. As per WHO (World Health Organization) guidelines and IAP (Indian Academy of Pediatrics) recommendations, it is 100% imperative to feed exclusive breast feeding till 6 months of age and it is advisable to feed till 2 years of age. But above 6 months you need to start complimentary feeds. I can advise yo on this if you can get back to me at 6 months of age of the baby.
Regarding the literature search on breast feeding in XXXXXXX i always suggest many of my educated patients to refer to the below mentioned website - Kindly go through and get back to be if there are any doubts.

Thanks much for the above answers, they make perfect sense.
One last question, I can feel the bone near my son's nipples like a sharp projection. I think the structure will get adjusted as he grows, can you let me know if this is OK as well?
Thanks again.
