Brief Answer:
Your child needs developmental assessment and support

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health Care Magic.

I really appreciate the suggestion that your child's teacher has given. Your child needs to be developmentally assessed. The parameters like cognitive, social, gross motor and fine motor capabilities need to be assessed alongside evaluation for learning disabilities. The vision and hearing assessment also need to be done. Based on the findings, he might require some suitable supports and it will help him utilize his capacities more efficiently.

Medicine alone is not going to help him. Interventions will depend on the developmental assessment.

Hope that helps.

Brief Answer:
No restrictions needed

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

I do not think that any sort of food restrictions are needed. You can give anything the child can tolerate. Learning disabilities often go undiagnosed and we keep blaming the child whereas some simple developmental support can bring him back to normal. Food restrictions have no role in this regard.
