Brief Answer:
quadruple marker is better at this gestational age.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXXXXX
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Based on the LMP, your wife is around 15 weeks pregnant/
There is no point in doing a double marker test at this gestational age.
It is done around 12 - 14 weeks of pregnancy.
It is better to wait for 2 more weeks and then go for the Quadruple marker test.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

Hi Dr XXXXXXX , Actually My Wife Pregnancy is Delayed by 2 weeks and 2 Days , So Current Situation is She is 12 Weeks and 6 days Pregnant .

Please Guide for Quadruple marker test.

I also Think Quadruple test will be more significant as it would test 4 test as compared double marker .

Also If I go for Double marker do we need to go for Quadruple test ?

Please Confirm .

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Okay, see, Quadruple marker test is more sensitive compared to the double marker test.
Even if you go for the double marker test, you should go for Quadruple test after 4 weeks.

Does she have any risk factors -high maternal age, obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, family history of abnormal babies, previous miscarriages or malformed babies etc ?

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
I have gone through the reports.
They are normal, only that the pregnancy is late by 2 weeks.
And the early pregnancy scans should be done transvaginally ( internally ) , not externally through the abdomen.
Rest all seems to be fine.
Blood tests should be done - CBC, TSH, HBA2, HIV, HCV, HBsAg, OGTT, Urine routine microscopy, Blood group.
Weight may in fact decrease in the first 3 months of pregnancy, and would increase properly only after the 4th month of pregnancy.
So please do not worry.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
All reports normal.

Detailed Answer:
I have gone through the test reports.
They are all normal.
Yes, the growth of the baby is normal, the conception is 2 weeks later as per LMP.
SO nothing to worry so far at all.
You can go for double marker right now, and then quadruple marker after 1 month.
Or you can straightaway go for the quadruple marker .
