Typhoid and HIV are not related
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Typhoid fever is due to organism Salmonella Typhi which is transmitted by feco oral route.it is due to consumption of infected food and water with this organism and is not related to intercourse.
So there is no relation of HIV and Typhoid.
The chances of transmission of HIV by sexual route is 1/ 200 to 1/2000 even if the partner is HIV infected.so again chances are rare as you had protected intercourse and she may be negative also.
You can get back to me for any clarifications.
Thank you
