Question : If u take zithromax 3 days before a chlamidyia test will it mask it?

Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic.
As you are aware chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease.
The usual treatment has been azithromycin which is given as a stat high dose or doxycyclin which is a 7 to 10 days course.
Keeping this in mind definitely use of azithromycin just prior to the test may give false negative results.
