Question : Hi, I got married last December. After 1 month my wife got pregnant. but that time we were not prepared for baby, so she decided for abortion. Is there any problem for future pregnancy, because Some doctor says that 1st pregnancy should not recommended for abortion. please help us.

Thanks for writing in with your health query.

The actual reason behind this thought is that when you abort , there is a scar region left in the uterus which can cause hindrance in implantation of the next embryo. it is same for the first oe the second and likewise pregnancies. It is not a very big issue and pregnancies occur commonly after abortions. There should be no problem in conceiving future pregnancies. Relax.
