What Does Fundus In Uterus Mean?

my doctor just e-mailed my result from doing an ultrasound last week and she said that my uterus is enlarge , measuring approximately 18.1 x 9.d x9.1 cm. she said that the uterus contains multiple fibroids . Fibroid #1: 9.8 cm myoma in the fundus. what is fundus? and is there a picture of it. Fibroid #2: 7.8 cm myoma in the body

Funds of a uterus means the upper part of the uterus which is connected to fallopian tubes. It has a dome shape. It plays a major role in implantation of embryo during pregnancy. Your report says you have 2 fibroids one in fundus and another in the body of uterus.
