Question : My baby is 3 months old. He is having cold and cough from past 4 days. Earlier doctor prescribed Mucolite 5 drops morning and evening.
Now he prescribed for MACBERY JUNIOR 2.5 ml 3 times and nebulize with livolin
My question: Is it safe to give MACBERY JUNIOR 2.5 ml 3 times a day

Macbery junior is a pediatric cough syrup.
The dose for a 5 kg child can be 2 to 2.5 ml thrice daily.
No issues.
You can give the dose as recommended by your doctor.
It is safe.
Cold and cough is usually viral and will settle in a few days.
Nebulisations will help in bringing out the secretions by dilating the air passages.
If symptoms persist consult your doctor again.
