Question : is APETAMIN, CYPROHEPTADINE LYSINE AND VITAMIN SYRUP - 200ML safe
Brief Answer:
Generally safe except for sedation and some side effects
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
The main active ingredient of Apetamin is Cyproheptidine which has antihistamine and antiserotonin actions. It is a stimulant of appetite and it produces sedation. So you should not take in the day time, should not drive or operate machinery or do anything where decreased alertness can cause harm to yourself or others.
It is generally safe otherwise, though side effects are reported as with most medicines.
Lysine and vitamins are generally considered safe.
