Question : Hi, I think the previous doctor misunderstood my question. I saw a doctor for a rosebush allergy from having pruned a rosebush. I was prescribed Fruticasone nasal spray, and Proair inhaler, and also told to take Claritin. But, the doctor only really had me taking it as needed or when pruning a rosebush again. I thought I needed to keep taking the spray, inhaler, and Claritin for a bit. It seemed to help with the asthma from the rosebush, and I found I slept better. I just stopped taking the spray and inhaler two days ago, and the Claritin last night. I then took Tylenol from discomfort from a newer cat allergy last night and to help me sleep. The way I am feeling has improved, but I am feeling still a bit drowsy, weaker, and sensitive. Am I still o.k. to walk to go on an errand in the heat? The previous doctor didn't think so, but I think he misunderstood. He seemed to think it was from stopping the allergy medications. What do you think?

Brief Answer:
You can go for walk.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I am the same doctor who had answered you previously.
I told you not to go for walk because you told that you are feeling drowsy.
And chances of fall are high if one is drowsy.
This is the only reason why I told you not to go on walk.
And in my opinion, you are having allergic bronchitis or asthma.
So you should get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) for the diagnosis of this.
And you should continue Inhaler and nasal spray. This will help you a lot. Best treatment of allergy is complete avoidance of allergen.
So you can definitely go for walk if you are feeling less drowsiness.
Continue your inhaler and nasal spray.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
