Is Light Red Spotting During Pregnancy Normal?

Question: I am 35 9 weeks pregnant and have light red spotting this morning with no cramping.i have an appointment this afternoon with my gp but they do not have ultrasound.will they be able to tell if everything is ok?
Is this normal? I have a 6 year old and had no complications with her pregnancy

You need to do an ultrasound as only it can tell if the fetal heart is fine or not. So I would suggest you get it done immediately.

Spotting could mean threatened abortion and can't be taken lightly.

Only a ultrasound can tell us for sure.
