                                    Brief Answer:
Visit the doctor again.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXXXXX
Thanks for posting the query.
Normal fever usually comes down by 3 days.
If still the fever doesn't come down then you'll have to do the preferred blood investigations and examine the throat by a doctor to rule out Tonsilitis.
Any query do follow up.
Take care.

Fever is below 100 from couple of days, but not completely gone. Also her voice is not back to normal. She is complaining that her throat is hurting.
Doctor has suggested Clamp as anti biotic. She is vomiting in the middle of the night, looks like it is full of mucus. Will the vomit even contain the anti biotic we gave her couple of hours back? Does that reduce the affect of anti biotic?
Is there any thing that we can try to relieve her throat pain?

Need not to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the follow up.
Vomiting will not reduce the medicines dose. But give her SYR. EMESET 3 ml before dinner so that she will not vomit.
Salt water gargling can be tried to give throat pain relief but cannot expect small kids to do it properly.
Continue the antibiotic. Which syrup have doctor prescribed for pain and fever?
You can try giving SYR. IBRUGESIC 5 ml 8 hourly.
Take care.
