Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Levonorgestrel-72 After Unprotected Sexual Intercourse?

Question: Hi I am age 24 I had a levonosestril 72 tablets after unprotected intercourse with my finance.after a week I have started to get bleeding so consulated a doctor she have given me some tablets like : crina ncr 15mg, Histac 150 & MumferXT tab.

Still I have not got my periods and its been 5 days of my normal date please advise is this tablets are fine will get my periods ASAP

Last cycle was 04th feb
Sex intercouse on 8th feb
Tablet taken on 9th feb
Bleeding on 15th feb
Consultaed doctor on 16th feb.

Having tablets till then.i am
Worried seriously Plz help

For last 3 days I have a stomach pain hope nothing to do with pregnant...we are getting married in August hope there should not be any problem Plz help...waiting for Ur reply

Hi,

There is absolutely no chance of pregnancy as per your history.

You didnt even need the emergency pill that you took as you had sexual intercourse on safe days.

Your periods have been preponed to 15th February as you had taken tablets.

As of now you dont need any tablets. Considering your last period as 15th February, wait till 20th March for periods to occur.

Dont worry about pregnancy. Its not possible.

Now pain in stomach could be due to gastritis. Take an antacid available over the counter.

Dont take anymore medicines.
