Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking An I-pill?

Today is 18th August till now I am not getting my periods, and I am very much tensed and worried about my periods not coming. AM I SAFE, WHEN I WILL GET MY PERIODS??
I am very tensed and worried and i already have 2 grown up childrens.
No need to worry.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Let me assure you that having unprotected sex a couple of days after the periods would not give you pregnancy.
Let me further state that the fertile period is between 10th and 18th day of your cycle. In other words, unprotected sex in this period can give you pregnancy. However, in case of the rest of the cycle, even unprotected sex with release of semen will not give you pregnancy (unprotected sex can still transmit venereal diseases, especially in case of multiple partners being involved).
Having i-Pill is usually supposed to give you periods (withdrawal bleeding) in 5-7 days. I do not know why that has not been the case here. However, since your having sex was still in the safe portion of the cycle, I do not think that there is anything to worry about.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I sense panic and lack of application of sensibility in your answer. You need to understand that for pregnancy to occur, the sperm and the ovum need to unite. For that to happen, proper timing is important. The ovum is secreted 14 days prior to the subsequent period. The range can therefore approximated to the period is between 10th and 18th day of your cycle. The unprotected sex that you mention, did not happen during this period. Even if there were sperms still present, they are unlikely to survive till around the 14th day of your cycle. So you are safe and can rule out the possibility of a pregnancy. Get over this first part. You are safe.
Coming to the part two. The withdrawal bleeding that you are supposed to get due to i-Pill. You took two of them and messed up the hormonal balance. I am not certain when you would be getting the withdrawal bleeding. However, I am certain that this does not correspond to pregnancy.
Start on a regular 21 day OCP cycle once you get the subsequent periods.

Thanks for your answer.
From which day to start the 21 OCP Tabs and name of the TABs.
So You are saying I am SAFE - 100%.
Date of Period coming? When Period will start?
No need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. You need to start the pill within 5 days (typically on the 3rd day) after the start of your period, and you are protected against pregnancy right away.
You may follow further instructions as on:

In medicine there is nothing called 100%. There can be malaria without fever and fever that is not malaria. All sorts of things can happen. But that does not mean all sorts of things are likely. I would not say that you could have malaria simply because malaria without fever is a possible entity. Talking about likelihood, I would say that it is unlikely that you are suffering from malaria (now). Same about your pregnancy. Talking about 100% certainty, any sort of comments can never have a 100% certainty.
Talking about the periods, I do not know when they would come. However, if you do not get periods within a month from the last period, you would need to get tested. However, I am quite certain that there is nothing to worry.
