Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse On 10th Day Of Menstrual Cycle?

default
Posted on Thu, 14 Jan 2016
Question: I had sex on Nov 28
Had spotting on Dec 8th
My last cycle was Nov 19

I started taking metformin on Dec 18 which is the week my cycle should have arrived but I have yet to have it
I have fluttering in my uterus which I feel when I'm ovulating
I'm stressing over this and other day to day situations
We didn't use protection but he didn't ejaculate in me
Would the metformin delay my cycle?
Could I be pregnant?

Brief Answer:
yes you could be pregnant

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It sounds like you had unprotected sex close to the time of ovulation so you could definitely be pregnant. Please check a pregnancy test and if you are pregnant then start on prenatal vitamins and see an obstetrician soon.
Pregnancy tests are most accurate 3 weeks after sex or one week after a missed period. They are also most accurate done on a first morning urine.
If you are not pregnant, then consider getting on some reliable form of birth control if you are not wanting a child at present.
Metformin would not delay your cycle.
You can get pregnant even if there is no direct ejaculation.
