Question : Hi recently I found out that I have subserosal cystic lesion in the uterus and complex cystic lesion in the left ovary.
Do I need to be concerned about this and get it removed?

I am Dr. Jyothi BL and I will be answering your query.
Based on your clinical reports and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Subserosal cystic lesion could be a degenerating fibroid. Fibroid with degenerative changes are common. If the cyst is larger or you have complications due to it, it might need to be removed. It would grow very slowly and unless you have any problems, specific to it, not to worry.
2. Complex cystic lesions are common in ovary. If the ovarian size is not larger than 4 or 5 cm, not to worry. It would not cause any problem. A larger size can undergo torsion.
As they are completely cystic and benign lesions without any cancer features, you need not worry.

The complex cyst is 4 cms. I don't have that much pain or anything. The sonograpger asked me to go for a follow up ultrasound scan after 8wks

As the cysts were identified for the first time, nobody is sure, whether it will increase or stay that way. So, a followup ultrasound is necessary after a period of 2-3 months.
