Brief Answer:
combine your cooking oils

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX

Greetings from HealthcareMagic.

The only fat that is bad for health is trans-fat and excessive saturated fat. Most vegetable oils are healthy and safe when taken within limits. Sunflower oil has gained undesirable popularity because of the fact that it has a high omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acid ratio.

I would suggest you to start rotating the vegetables oils used for cooking. Choose from rice XXXXXXX oil, corn oil, mustard oil, sesame oil etc. and keep interchanging these oils.

The best oils for deep frying are peanut, sunflower, safflower and soy oil as these have a high smoking point and hence high decomposition temp. I have included sunflower oil in this list, because it is perfectly safe for consumption when you use it once or twice a week. Make sure that you do not reuse the oil once used for deep frying.

You may use canola, olive or a combination of oils for shallow cooking. Extra virgin olive oil can also be added as the normal salad dressings.

If you wish to use pure ghee, make sure that you take it from a reputed shop that sells ghee made from cow’s milk and limit its intake to less than 2 tsp. perday, and avoid other fats.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to ask further questions.
