Is Thyroid Disease Transferrable To Others?

Question: Hello,

Our maid have positive Thyroid Gland Diease. She lives in our house. We have children also. Can Thyroid Gland Diease affect/transfer to others? The person is using things such as plates and glass while eating along with us. Please check and advise. Thanks
