Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I AM 35 YRS OLD,I DONT HAVE ANY PAST MEDICAL HISTORY.AFTER MY SECOND DELIVERY,I GAINED MY WEIGHT AROUND 15 KG,IRREGULAR PERIODS,VERY TIRED,.... SO I CHECKED MY TFT,TSH.T3, T4 NORMAL,BUT THYROGLOBULINE ANTIBODIES VERY HIGH 4000IU/ML NORMAL RANGE IS 0- 51. I STARED IN THYROXINE I00MCG.THIS DOSE IS ENOUGH FOR CORRECTING THIS CONDITION??????????
The dose is calculated according to your weight (1.6mcg per kg). I am certain your doctor must have prescribed you according to this criteria and hopefully this dose would be enough.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
