I’ve Gotten This On My Peanus That Looks Like A
Question: I’ve gotten this on my peanus that looks like a rash, with a little scabbing. It’s happened maybe twice a year for about 5/6 years. Before I get it I feel allot of sensitivity. Then rash appears, but no pain. Just minor itching but not to the point that I’m super uncomfortable. I’ve only had sex with my wife and she’s never gotten anything and has been tested for herpes and all other std’s. Is this herpes or what else? I am uncircumsized.
-I would think herpes but as contagious as herpes is I would think she would’ve gotten something by now.
I am attaching pictures. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
candida/ yeast infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and viewed the images.
I think you have a yeast iinfection- candida where there are red bumps along with vesicles/ pustules, scaling and there is itching. Whereas genital herpes presents with fluid filled vesicles which rupture to form painful erosions/ ulcers . I suggest you to use a topical antifungal e.g clotrimazole cream or ketoconazole cream. You may also take a single dose of an oral antifungal e.g fluconazole 150mg tablet.
Hope I have answered your query.Let me know if you need any more assistance
