Question : RESPECTED DOCTOR
MY DAUGHTER AGED 7 SUFFERING FROM CHRONIC HAIR LOSS , VERY THIN HAIR ,LOSE ATLEAST 75- 100 STRANDS OF HAIR PER DAY , HER BLOOD INVESTIGATION ( HBG 13.1 GM/DL , TSH NORMAL )
ON BIOTIN SUPPLEMENT 2.5MG PER DAY FOR 90 DAYS , SUPRADYN 1/2 TAB'S DAY .
HAIR LOSS NOT SOLVED TILL NOW

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Its very uncommon to loose hair at this early age.
I would like to know, whether she suffered from any illness like typhoid, malaria or any other disease.
Also please upload a photograph of her scalp,
I would like to see whether she is loosing hair in a particular pattern.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.
