Question : I had a full hysterectomy 16 years ago. I'm now 57 and my face has decided to grow blonde, invisible little moustache hairs above my top lip. Not ok. My Dr. prescribed me conjugated estrogen but it turned out to be $100-something per month, which is just too much for me. Is there ANYTHING less expensive I can get either by prescription or OTC that would still be effective for this issue?
Brief Answer:
options for HRT
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
you have been offered HRT with conjugated oestrogen, however you may opt for natural oestrogen like TAB VALEST 2mg once a day for 28 days pack for 3 months and then a break for 2 months before starting again.
Also implement some special dietary foods i your diet which are rich in isoflavones like soya products, flax seeds, alpha alpha sprouts, and tofu. They have natural oestrogen's and can help prevent menopausal symptoms and may even alleviate the need of HRT in 6 months if you are regular over them.
Regards
