Question : Possibly. I am a type II diabetic, taking 1000mg Met X2 each day, along with Jardience X1 (AM), and glimiperide (4mg) x 1 (also AM). Am wondering if I would see better results with a split dose of the glimiperide, since I am taking 2mg tabs.

Besides the research, this is also expected because of its half life (which varies between 5 and 9 hours). Its half life indicates that glimepiride remains in high concentration throughout the day.
