General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Yes, Amaryl, Remylin D, and Glycomet can be taken together before breakfast as they are all prescribed to control blood sugar levels in diabetic patients. Amaryl should be taken 30 minutes before breakfast to allow it to start working before you eat. Yes, you can take the rest of the medications together, but it is always best to confirm with your healthcare provider or pharmacist to make sure there are no known interactions between the medications.
If a prescription states "before dinner" or "after dinner," it is generally recommended to take the medication 30 minutes to 1 hour before or after a meal, respectively. However, it is always best to follow the specific instructions provided by your healthcare provider or pharmacist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
