Question : I need an effective home remedy for lesions on my penis caused by herpes. Zovirax that I have used for many years has become astronomically priced. So far I have just kept the sores clean in the shower, and covered them with a band aid to prevent chafing on my pants. Thank you.

It would be wrong practice to empirically apply any cream for treatment without proper confirmation of diagnosis. As the lesion have been present for very long time , thorough clinical examination by Surgeon and taking swab/biopsy will be helpful.

I would suggest you to consult your Physician for further assessment. In the meantime you can send me clinical photograph for further assessment.
