Brief Answer:
Dose of mefenemic acid is 8 mg/kg/dose

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

Meftal P contains mefenemic acid 100 mg in each 5 ml.
The dose of mefenemic acid is 25 mg/kg/day and it can be given in three equal divided dosage.
So for a child of 10 kg the dose would be 4 ml and can be repeated at an interval of 8 hours.
This is a prescription medicine so please get it prescribed by a pediatrician.
The underlying cause of fever should also be evaluated.
Tepid sponging and plenty of oral fluids also helps in bringing down the temperature.

Please let me know if you have any more query.
Regards
