Detailed Answer:
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
It all depends on the size and location of the stone that medical therapy would be helpful or not.
If stones are small in size, that is just concretions or less then 5 mm in size then we have to see that they are obstructive or non-obstructive. The non-obstructive stones can be flushed out by drinking plenty of water and taking Urinary Alkalizers.
The are many syrups available OTC for stones, that mainly help in recurrent stone formation. An ideal syrup should contain Vitamin B6, commonly available as Stone1-B6.
I would advice you to get first of all get an Ultrasound Abdomen to see for the size and site of the stones.
Along with that get a Urine Routine and Microscopy done to rule out any evidence of Urinary Tract Infection.
Serum Uric acid should also be checked, to rule out if there is any hyperuricemia that might be leading to formation of Uric acid stones.
In that case, treatment for hyperuricemia is also indicated.
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
