Question: Our 3 year-old grandson got stung on his finger by a wasp 48 hours ago. His hand is still red and swollen and slightly warm. Is this normal? What can we do?

Hi...If he is otherwise stable without the swelling spreading or stridor you need not worry.

Depending on the amount of toxin injected the swelling called angioedema can stay even for 4 days.
