Brief Answer:
I would like to continue the medication and observe closely

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for choosing this platform

I can understand your concern.
Advent contains amoxycillin which has a good coverage for bacteria causing respiratory infection. It may take 3-5 days for cough and fever to get relieved.
Macberry XT contains terbutaline (prevents airway spasm),ambroxol (sputum thinning agent).
Cough may be severe in some cases of infection. Most of the babies respond well to these medication.
I would request you to continue the same treatment and consult your pediatrician for clinical examination(to check whether there is any spasm of airway needing nebulisation).
I won't get overly worried if there is no breathing problem as it may take some time for cough to get relieved.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Steroid is given in case of airway spasm and/or inflammation

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Oral Steroid is sometimes given by some physicians if there is spasm of airways to get the relief.

As I have not examined her clinically I request you to better get a second opinion from another pediatrician.

Regards
