Brief Answer:
Consult Gynecologist for internal examination and ultrasound

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.

This heavy bleeding is not normal. If you are sexually active the first thing to be ruled out is pregnancy.
If you are not sexually active then this heavy bleeding could be due to hormonal imbalance. There is also a possibility of
1. Endometrial polyp ( growth of lining of uterus)
2. Endometrial hyperplasia ( thickening of lining of uterus
3. Thyroid disorder etc
So please consult gynecologist for internal examination and ultrasound.
I hope this is helpful. If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
