Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
The back pain could be postural ?
Have you strained yourself in any unnatural manner recently ?
And yes, please get your calcium, vitamin D and TSH levels checked - that could be a reason.
Are your bowel movements regular ?
This could be an indication of a pelvic cyst / colon issue.
You would need to have an ultrasound of the pelvis and abdomen, that might reveal the diagnosis.
Do you have any other medical complications ?
What is your weight and height ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Thank you,Doctor, here are a few more details --bowels are sometimes slow /
Sometimes normal- this cramping is NON STOP for 3 weeks-with a small pressure spot feeling -somewhere deep in low pelvic area.,can't pinpoint exactly where.the cramp AND low back ache are similar to menstrual feeling-10 plus years ago-before menopause..
What does"tsh" mean?
4 months ago I had the same cramps for 5 weeks/clinic sent me for ultrasound
Nothing seen/went away for months -back again /worse this time.
Had low (lab) level of vit. d months ago-took supplement.then forgot all about it for months...i am 5"11/overweight--265 lbs.also a new to me sensation is occasional sensation of stool moving along--low bowel

Hello
So, the pain maybe bowel related, as you are having issues with slow bowel evacuation sometimes.
TSH is thyroid stimulating hormone ( measuring thyroid hormone levels ).
The cramps might be menopausal symptoms too , if no other reason is found ( recent ultrasound is normal ) and a gastrointestinal specialist can find no bowel reason for it.
Maybe HRT ( hormone replacement therapy ) will work in that case.
Get the repeat Vitamin D levels too done.
And yes, please work on weight loss.
That will definitely help.
