Question : I had unprotected sex 3 times with an unknown status female. I have had tingling and pins and needle feelings everywhere below my waist for 2 weeks. 4 days ago a pimple/cyst like bump showed up between my scrotum and anus. It is becoming more sensitive the last day. Can this be a hsv2 initial outbreak?

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed pimple like bump over perineal region after having unprotected sex with a woman of unknown STd status .
It takes 4-6 weeks to get positive result of STD tests after having sex with infected person .
Based on the symptoms the bump that you have is mostly a Staphylococcal Infection of hair follicle in perineal region in a stage of induration .
You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Augmentin along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily for 10 days .
In view of unprotected sex with unknown woman I would suggest you to get screening tests for STD and HIV done after one month and repeat the same after three months to be rest assured about acquiring STD or HIV .

Do initial hsv2 outbreaks normally occur in this area or do they normally occur on penis?

To clarify...is it unlikely that a hsv 2 initial outbreak would occur between the anus and scrotum?
