Question : my 2months old daughter had vaccinations done at 10 weeks 4 dayd back.she is passing loose stools ato 4-5 per day and is irritated. normally she passes 1-2 stools per day. is it expected and what can be done to stop loose motions. is irritation also associated with vaccines? how many days these would continue.

Hi...it may not be related to vaccines... But sometime rota viral vaccines can cause mild loose stools. It usually doesn't warrant treatment.

Hi....sometime rota virus vaccine can cause this.
At the same time it is usual for kids this age group to have occasional loose stools like this.
Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.
