Brief Answer:
Hello, Do not worry.

Detailed Answer:

Hi Mr XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for the query.
I understand your concern.
H Pylori is a frequent infection in XXXXXXX setup, as it is a food born bacterial infection there is high prevalence of H pylori in indians, most of them being asymptomatic. some of them go on to develop gastritis (inflammation of stomach wall, the way you have it) some of them go on to develop severe complication like gastric or duodenal ulcers (what you had in the past)

Since it is a food borne infection the only way to prevent it is hygienic eating and drinking habits. But despite of intense efforts it is some time difficult to prevent it being so prevalent.

Similarly there is high incidence of antibiotic resistance seen in H pylori bacteria and hence it some times becomes important to document cure after completion of treatment which can be done by a non invasive test like H Pylori breath test.

So there is some possibility that it could be persistent from 2010 itself.
Additionally your symptoms seem more to be like non ulcer dyspepsia and the abnormality on endoscopy may not correlate with your symptoms.

Hence life stlye modification like
1) Eating on time
2) healthy diet
3) regular exercise
4) adequate sleep
5) avoiding sleeping two hours after meals
6) reducing stess
7) avoiding addictions
will help you in long run in addition to medications prescribed.

Hope this answers your query.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
Happy to help.
