Brief Answer:
Unless there is no fever, it is most probably associated with the weight

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Snorting noises are common amongst infants, toddlers and overwright adults. In most cases it is a faulty ot distressed larynx causing the noise. But in overweight adults it seems to be due yo a combination of some pressure in the larynx (possibly caused by compression) and breathing difficulties (associated with being overweight or obese).

Although it has not been studied in detail and as far as it does not present with a fever, this is something that is associated with the extra weight and in almost all cases completely dissappears once the individual reaches more normally acceptable weight ranges.

I hope you find my response helpful and informative. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.

Best wishes.
